About Me

Pat Branson was born in Port Arthur, Texas. Pat and her husband moved to Crandall, TX in 2001. Pat earned a Bachelor Degree in Business from Port Arthur College. She retired from Texaco Refinery in Port Arthur in 1999 after working there as an accountant for 38 years. In 1973, Pat was chosen to go with Shirley MacLaine and 5 other women to The People’s Republic of China. They were the first women’s delegation to travel there when the doors first opened by President Nixon. Pat served for 6 years on the Crandall City Council and has served on Crandall EDC Board for 12 years as Secretary/Treasurer. Pat is also very active on the Crandall Chamber of Commerce Board, where she serves as Treasurer. Pat and her husband are proud parents of a daughter, 3 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. When Pat is not busy helping Crandall succeed, she is busy working with the Chevron Retirees Association as the Treasurer, which consist of all the Chevron Retirees, and trying to stay up with her grandchildren.
